Bobby, Ken, Marcia and family, sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Fond memories of our lunchtime walks at Raytheon in Wayland with Jack McStay, Brian Considine, John Gilmore, Kai Chang and others before we relocated to Sudbury in the mid 90's. Also, learned that he was affectionately known as "Skip" when we visited him in Dennis and he took our family out on the boat from Sesuit Harbor. He was a very capable engineer and his legacy has rubbed off on you guys. Think of him every time we drive through Dennis on 6A and look at the Scargo Tower which he also brought us too after we purchased our cottage in Eastham. In our prayers. Mike

Dick will be remembered as a good neighbor and true champion of our Cape Cod neighborhood.

Dear Marcia, Bob, Ken and Family, Ian and I feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful cousin-in-law. Skip was the best. Fun and funny, generous and kind, with lots of stories and a bright, sharp eye for falseness or uppityness, Skip gave much and asked little - he was old-fashioned in the best sense, a gentleman, proud of his family, his work, his life and his adventures. He treated his wife and sons with great respect and love, which all came back to him exponentially. Cheerful and a bit mischievous, he loved his work and was very proud that his boys followed suit, attending WPI and spending their careers at Raytheon. We were so grateful for Skip and Marcia, who made many of our visits to the Cape much happier; their hospitality never wavered and in its breadth, was hard to repay. We loved Skip and will miss seeing him, being invited to the hot tub, hearing the latest news, and enjoying his company. We never got to Manchaug or Marietta together, but we believe that he is having a very much greater adventure, going home, where we will meet him again. With very much love and deepest sympathy.
