Holliston-

Karen Ann Evers, 57, of Holliston, passed away unexpectedly December 24th, 2015. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of Carol H. (Bennett) and James Joseph Evers, formerly of Boston, and now Braintree.

She adored being a mother to her two children Grace and Nick Pecci, both of Holliston, and her beloved dog Millie. She also leaves behind four siblings, Michael Evers and his spouse, Jarred Burn of Braintree, Kenneth Evers and his wife Lori of Taunton, Kristine Lally and her husband Jackie of Quincy and Kim Evers of Attleborough. She also leaves behind her former husband Joseph Pecci of Leicester.

Karen was a 1980 graduate of UMass Amherst and a 1989 graduate of Salem State, where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Karen loved her job as a clinical social worker at Milford Regional Medical Center and had also worked in Early Intervention.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30th from 4-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A service will take place in the funeral home on Thursday, December 31st at 10:00a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen’s memory may be made to Milford Regional Medical Center Foundation, 14 Prospect St. Milford, MA 01757 or foundation.milfordregional.org
