Yolanda Mannello

Born: June 19, 1923 Manhattan, NY

Died: April 23, 2019 Holliston, MA

Age: 95

Yolanda Santgiacomo was the last born of nine children (eight girls and one boy) to Domenico and Giovanna Santgiacomo in Manhattan, New York on June 19, 1923. Her parents emigrated from Sicily around 1908.

Yolanda married Frederick Mannello in 1946, shortly after his return from Germany at the end of WWII. Frederick died in 2005 and was interred at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum in Farmingdale, Long Island, where Yolanda will also be lain to rest beside her husband.

She is survived by two sons, Michael of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Richard of Holliston, MA; five grandchildren, Madeleine Mannello, Marisa Lemen, Michael Mannello, Nicole Mannello and Anna Mannello, and a great grandson, William T. Lemen V (Liam), her daughter-in-law, Karen Mannello and grandson in-law, William T. Lemen IV and a number of nieces and nephews, including Kathleen Mayerski and Donna Mannello.

Yolanda spent most of her childhood and young adult life in NYC. She was a wife and homemaker and enjoyed cooking, reading, crafts and music. She was a resident of Syosset, NY for 40 years before moving to Weston, FL in 1995. In 2009, she moved to Massachusetts, most recently at Timothy Daniels House in Holliston , MA.
