Workezebo Hailemelecot, 73, of Southborough, passed away at her home on Monday, July 16, 2012. Born in Eritrea, she was the daughter of the late Mehret (Lema) and Hailemelecot Woldemichael. She was the wife of Makonnen Alemayehu of Southborough.

Workezebo worked as a nurse while living in Ethiopia and was a homemaker when she came to America.

Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters; Aida Makonnen Holland and her husband Chris, Sophia Makonnen; 2 sons, Bazin Makonnen and his wife, Azalech Agedew and Agabos Makonnen; her sisters, Albastros Hailemelecot, Nardos Hailemelecot, and Nazret Hailemelecot. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Caleb Holland, Mikael Makonnen as well as many nieces and nephews.
