A noble, gentle and righteous man who always had a kind word and a gave warm chuckle when he laughed. His enthusiasm for music gave us much in common. (His first band included me on keyboards,) and I enjoyed running into him at Mass or other occasions. The pain of losing Larry still sears, and the depth of bewilderment mixes with grief and compassion for the terrible pain he surely felt. He would undoubtedly remind us to take care of each other throughout our lives. I am so very grateful that I knew Larry. David T

I am deeply saddened to hear of Larrys passing. My condolences to the Marsell family and his friends. Larry was a kind, sweet, gentle man. Our friendship goes back to the early 90\'s.. I will cherish the memories of all our dinner dates, going to see the Moody Blues concert and his efforts to teach me how to play pool. Rest in peace, Larry.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the Marsell Family. It was my great fortune to have been Larry’s neighbor and friend for the 5 years that I lived in Holliston with my family during which time I spent many enjoyable times with him. He was funny, kind, thoughtful and was always looking out to help not only his neighbors, but anyone in his life. He told many stories about growing up in Holliston surrounding by his loving family and friends. He loved being a State Trooper after being so inspired by his parents to serve. He was truly one of the few really good men that I have ever been fortunate to know.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Marsell family. Larry was my classmate and good friend. Major Susan Anderson\'s kind words were said well, we knew Larry early on in the academy as \"bee-bop.\" It was always a pleasure to see Larry\'s smiling face- especially when we met on the golf course. RIP my friend.

Dear Marsell Family, I am so shocked and sad to hear the news of Larry's death. He was way too young and had so much life to live. I will always remember the many hunting trips with Charlie Caswell, Roger Murphy, Mike Nolan, Tom Hendrickx, and my Dad. We had great times and some success many years in Maine at Bear Mountain Lodge, and Pierce Pond. On more recent trip to Libby Camps we enjoyed telling many stories of those previous adventures. I offer my sincere condolences to the Marsell family. Larry, my friend, you will be missed. Allen Austin

Dear Joanie, Larry, John and Dianne: We cannot adequately express in words our sorrow at Larry's passing. We remember Larry fondly as our young families grew up together. We could always count on a Christmas Eve visit from Larry, and occasional visits in Holliston even as our lives went in different directions. We will not forget him. The Tule Family

Larry and Joan..My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family. I meet Larry 37 years ago our freshman year at Westfield when he lived across the hall from me. Spending our days in the criminal justice classes together I got to know what a fine, kindhearted sincere wonderful person he was. Come full circle and landing in Holliston brought him back into my life and yet again I got to enjoy his wonderfulness.Dinners together and the recent Police golf tournament were full of laughs. Joe and I got to spend last Saturday night having dinner with him and watching a beautiful Cape Cod sunset. He will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Joan and Larry , I can't tell you how sad I am for you. I have fond memories of young Larry. We spent time together when he was in the state police academy. Our family also went to his graduation. I looked forward to seeing him each year when he Would come into the fire station for a burning permit. He was a joy to talk to. I know you have some wonderful memories , hold on to them and remember The happy times with your son. I will be praying that you will have God's Peace. Joan
