Remembering Robert Louis Christo

Recently found myself going down memory lane, deciding to look up old friends. Growing up right next door to the christo's becoming best friends with Jenn and growing up with the whole family I came across this and am deeply sadden to learn the passing of Mr. Christo. I am so saddened by the news of Bob's passing. It has been almost 2 months now and I am just finding out. I saw him most every afternoon at the Fayeville location, as I worked down the street and was always dropping off a bundle of mail. When I would come in, he always had relaxing, instrumental music playing. He was so soft spoken and kind; and I could tell he was very intelligent. We talked about the weather, our families, his move to Holliston so his wife could be more comfortable and the Patriots. He saw me mailing packages down to my grandchildren in NC, and always asked about them. When he first told me of his illness, he was so brave, just saying, I'm fighting a battle here, but it's going to be all right. He worked right through his treatments and never complained. One of the last times I saw him, he said he was taking some time off and was expecting some test results. If only I knew that would be the last time.....My prayers to his family. RIP, Bob. Debby
