Holliston-

Ralph U. Barreira, 59, of Holliston, passed away December 6, 2015. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Patricia (Frankhouser) and Urbino J. Barreira.

Ralph was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended the University of Maryland and graduated fifth in his class from University of Miami Law School. He worked most of his career for the Dade County Florida Judicial Courts as the Assistant Attorney General.

He is survived by two children, Andrew Bouta of Florida, and Troy Barreira of Alabama. He also leaves behind 4 sisters, Patricia O’Brien of FL, Jeanne Barreira of South Carolina, Carol Stone of New Hampshire, Mary Bruce of Ashland; as well as his friend Jasmine Miller of Alabama and 9 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10th from 5-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A service in the funeral home will follow at 7pm.
