Priscilla Rae Peterson, nee Moody, died on November 28, 2023 at the age of 101  years. She died peacefully in her sleep after a brief hospitalization. A life-time Worcester resident, Priscilla leaves behind her children, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Priscilla was the youngest of 6 daughters, born to Leon and Gladys Moody. All of those sisters have predeceased her.

Priscilla was a proud graduate of Commerce High School. She immediately put her skills to work at the Paul Revere Life Insurance Company. She quickly advanced to a supervisory position. And met her husband, F. Phillip Peterson. They married in 1950 and she undertook her second career as a wife and mother. He predeceased her in 1996.

She returned to work in the insurance industry and spent many years working in her field.

Priscilla was a great lover of pets and adored her many cats and dogs over the years. She was an avid needlework craftswoman and also a talented seamstress and knitter. She will be especially remembered for her angora-bearded Santa Christmas stockings which were personalized for each of the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Priscilla leaves behind her 3 children and their spouses, Michael and Carolyn Peterson, Laurie Peterson and Peter Dunne and Douglas and Kathy Peterson.. She also leaves her many grandchildren -. Tenley, Dawn, Beverly, Emily, Jameson and Karly. Her many great-grandchildren include Lydia, Rebekah, William, Emilia, Isaiah, Moriah, Kathryn, Darby, Corwyn, Desi, Margo, Staale, Coco and Cyrus, who was born three days after her death.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service or calling hours. Her remains will be interred in Hope Cemetery at a private family memorial. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
