Obituaries

Please accept my sincerest sympathies. Nothing can prepare us for the emotions that follow losing a loved one, emotions and feelings we were never designed to ever experience. Our original purpose was to live forever, in paradise, with no threat from death, and our loving father, Jehovah, promises us that he will restore this paradise earth, even promising to restore our loved ones. (Isaiah 65:17) Can you just imagine that? Seeing yourself there, tearfully embracing your loved one? Keeping this hope real can give us hope, and hope will help us endure until this time comes.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can only share with you what has brought me comfort in times like these that it is God’s purpose to restore the dead to life by means of a resurrection to a paradise earth, where sickness and death will be no more. Jesus said: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”—John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:1-4.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can only share with you what has brought me comfort in times like these. It is knowing that God will soon end all pain and tears. He also promises that we will see our loved ones again by means of a resurrection here on earth (Revelation 21:4, John 5:28,29). We can look forward to welcoming back Nicholas and those that we miss dearly! My heartfelt condolences to the family during this difficult time.
