N. Eunice Crary, 95, died early July 30, at the Eliot Health Care Center in Natick where she had resided the past few years. She was born November 15, 1913 in Holliston where she spent most of her life with her beloved sister Jeannette, who died in 2007. She was the daughter of John and Nira (Nottage) Crary. Eunice was educated in Holliston and worked many years for the Babson Reports. Eunice was always involved and loved volunteering in local activities including long time membership at the First Congregational Church, the Holliston Food Pantry, and the Senior Center. She had a great love of music and played piano for many of the groups in which she participated including the “Warblers”. Always so attentive to detail, she was often called upon to lead and organize various efforts for the groups she attended.
She leaves her cousins Helen Conklin of Rhode Island; Diane Frazier of Hopedale and her children, Paula Markmann, Robert Markmann and James Markmann; David and Candace Conklin
Norma and Tim Hopkins; Scott and Mary Alice Conklin; and Jennifer and William Conklin
She will be missed by many dear and devoted friends including Linda and Mike Towle and their family of Medway.
Rather than flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Holliston Building Fund at 725 Washington Street.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 10:00-11:00a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. followed by a funeral home service at 11:00a.m.
