A picture of Melissa and the Bachman clan hangs in my classroom to this day because of how special Melissa and her siblings were (and still are) to me when they were my students. Melissa's smile is the biggest of all. Every time I look at it I think of her kindness, spunk, and eternal inner beauty - a spirit that will always remain within my heart.
