Maxine Ellen (Morse) Potter, 81, passed away on September 4, 2017 at Milford Center nursing home in Milford, MA. Maxine was born in Springfield, VT on November 20, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Marjorie E. Morse and Thurlow P. Morse of Charlestown. She is predeceased by her husband Kenneth W. Potter of Old Orchard Beach, ME.

Before retiring, Maxine worked for the town of Holliston, MA  in the high school cafeteria. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed sewing, cooking, spending time with her family and all things chocolate. Maxine is predeceased by her son, Michael J. Potter and survived by her four children, Kathy Bouchard, Cindy Most, Sandy Houle and David Potter. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown, NH on Saturday September 9, 2017 at 12:30 PM. Memorial donations may be made to your local chapter of the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
