Mary “Winnie” Hayes, 93, of Holliston, passed away at home Friday, January 19, 2018. Born in Wayland, she was the daughter of the late Eva (Harelle) and Edwin C. Webster. She was the wife of the late Francis C. Hayes.

Winnie proved throughout her life that true wealth is not measured by bank account balances but by the love and memories created with friends and family. She will be remembered by all those her life touched, whether it be during her time working at Framingham Union Hospital, making wedding cakes for those in town, sharing her talents creating crafts, or donating to her favorite charities.

Winnie’s legacy of love and friendship will live on through her most prized possessions, her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Francis Hayes of Holliston, Mary Toscano and her husband, Lee of Wolfeboro, NH, Teresa Waugh and her husband Joe, of Holliston, and Patricia Czerkowicz and her husband, James of Uxbridge. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Ethan, John, James, Matthew, Ashleigh, and Sarah, as well as 9 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
