Margaret “Jane” Dennison, 87, of Holliston, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (McCarty) and Frederick Dolan. She was the wife of 55 years to the late Paul J. Dennison.

Jane was a devout catholic and a lifetime member of Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston. She enjoyed cooking, loved flowers, taking care of others, and especially took pleasure in time spent with her children and grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Bethany Healthcare in Framingham for their love and care for Jane.

Jane is survived by her four children, Kevin P. Dennsion and his wife, Deborah, of Holliston, James M. Dennison and his wife, Kimberly, of Wells, Maine, Mary Ellen Valhos and her husband, George, of Dover, NH, and John F. Dennison and his fiancée, Wendy Fullam, of Marlborough;  Roberto Mendizabal and his wife, Nancy, of Bradenton Beach, FL, who Jane considered one of her sons. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, Derek Dennison, Ashley Thompson, Adam Dennison, Danielle Dennison, Ryan Dennison, Emily Valhos, Alex Valhos, Matthew Dennison, Zachary Dennison, Andrew Mendizabal and Andrea Smith; as well as four great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Piper Dennison, Paul Joseph Dennison, and AJ Mendizabal. She is predeceased by her sister, Mary Dolan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 27th at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Healthcare. Bethanyhealthcare.org or Bethany Health Care Advancement Dept. 97 Bethany Rd.
