Holliston-

Margaret Alma Foster, 86, of Holliston died Tuesday – August 15, 2006 at her home following a long illness. Born in Framingham she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Rose (Belhumer) Devine. She was also the wife of 41 years to the late Stanley Charles Foster, who passed away in 1986

Mrs. Foster was a WW II Veteran serving in the Navy Waves and was a past commander of the Holliston American Legion Post #47. A 50 year Holliston resident who was active in the Women’s Guild, St. Mary’s Church of Holliston, and as a Girl Scout Leader. She also had a great love for animals especially dogs.

She is survived by 1 son; Christopher Charles Foster and his wife Patricia of Springfield, Missouri, 4 daughters; Ginny Dutra and her husband Ken of North Truro, Susan McElligott and her husband Herb of Millis, Karen Kaseta and her husband Vince of Westborough, Gaill Fallon and her husband Michael of Hopkinton. She also leaves 9 grand children and 9 great grandchildren and her nephews Joe and Roger Cutler of Sudbury and Raymond Rasicot of Yarmouthport and 1 niece Margaret Youngling of Maryland
She is predeceased by a son Stanley Stephen Foster who died only after a few days in 1948 and by a sister Catherine Rasicot.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston on Friday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m.Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery of Holliston.
