Holliston-

Lorraine Marie Fargano, 71, of Holliston, died Sunday, April 12, 2009. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Marie (Brennessel) Paetow. She was the wife of Joseph Fargano of Holliston.

She was a member of the Marion Community and also a member of the Vision of Peace Prayer Community; The original president for the Women’s Magnificat Archdiocese of Boston, she was also a Eucharistic minister at St. Mary’s in Holliston and was a former counselor at the Fatima Shrine in Holliston.

Besides her husband Joseph, she is survived by 1 son, Michael Jiencke and his wife Maryanne of Holden, 1 daughter, Laura Jiencke and her husband Steven Rothbloom of NYC, 1 step-daughter, Theresa Ann Grassey and her husband Joseph of Ashland; a brother, Thomas Paetow and his wife Marguerite of Islip Terrace, NY; 2 sisters, Barbara Pannullo and her husband Anthony of Las Vegas; and Marilyn Jagiello of Forrest Hills, NY. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Bryan, Stephen, and Julie. She is predeceased by a son, Richard and a grandson, David.

A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Holliston. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Medway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marian Community Betania II, 1 Marian Way, Medway, MA. 02053
