Laura P. Blake, 84, of Orlando, FL. and formerly of Hopkinton, died Friday, October 12, 2007. Born in Weymouth, MA., she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Annette (Bettencourt) Tower. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Blake. She is survived by her children, Robert Blake and his wife Joyce of FL., Carol Wurth of Hudson MA., Linda Unger and Daniel Baldwin of FL., Lee (Doris) Sasso and her husband Anthony of Missouri, Brian Blake and his wife Diane of W. Virginia. She was also the mother of the late Richard Blake. She leaves 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, her brothers, Myron Tower and his wife Marie, George Tower and his wife Annie, Edward Tower, Wallace Tower, and her sister Dorothy Marchand. Previously of Hopkinton, MA., she spent her retirement years in New Hampshire and Florida, living most recently with her daughter in Orlando. Her interests included gardening and playing cards. She was an active member of the Bunco Babes and a member of the Ladies Christmas Tea and will be dearly missed by her many friends and family. Calling hours will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on October 27, 2007 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 Central St., Holliston, MA. 01746. A Memorial Service will follow in the church at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Milford. Flowers may be sent to the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA. 01748 or donations in her name may be made to The Salvation Army or March of Dimes.
