She is also survived by her granddaughter Melissa Pomfred and her husband James of Medway, great-granddaughter, Celia Monahan of Medway, and nieces Karen Ciaramicoli, Laura Chapman, and nephew Glenn Hansen.  She was predeceased by her sister Lorraine Hansen and niece Linda Thompson.

Joan was blessed with faithful caregivers; Mary Beth, KK, Annie, Jessica, Riley, and Amanda.

Joan will be greatly missed by her family and many friends for her humor and kindness.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston at 854 Washington St.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10 at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
