George Hilliard, 78, of Holliston, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Umass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late George J. and Jennie F. (Regonlinksi) Hilliard. He was the husband to Kathlyn (Kirby) Hilliard of Holliston.

A lifelong Holliston resident, George was a member of the Maspenok Rod and Gun Club.

Besides his wife of 55 years, he is survived by his children, Joanne of CA.; James of Holliston, Jeffrey of N.H., Joel and his wife Wilma of NY, Jeannine of Holliston, John of Holliston and Jerry and his wife Terry of Bellingham. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jeannette, and Jacqueline; 6 sisters, Rita Grupposo of Holliston, Rosemary Dzindolet of Holliston, Kathleen Gjerd of MA, Mary Louise Doberchesky of Franklin, Patricia Beatrice of CA., Joanna Hilliard of Holliston; 3 brothers, Joseph, Edward and John Hilliard all of Holliston. He also leaves his nephew Robert Russo; his friend Stanley Szretter as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Friday September 25, 2009 from 4-7pm at the

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 9am
