Faye Goodnow Haynes, 88, of East Longmeadow, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017. Born in Framingham on February 8, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Leavitt) and Michael Ryan.
Faye had been married to Wallace Goodnow, who was one of the founding families of Sudbury, MA, until his death in 1991. Several years after his death, she married Charles B. Haynes, who passed away in 2000. Faye adored animals. The loves of her life were her family and her animals; especially Zeke, her German Shephard and Spooky her Maine Coon Cat.
She is survived by two nieces, Marylin Sharples and husband Charles of Wilbraham, MA. Barbara Early and her husband David of Scarborough, ME; two nephews, Kenneth Tozier and his wife Nancy of Worcester, and Alan Burton and his wife Gwen of FL. She is predeceased by her sister, Barbara Burton.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 11:00a.m. at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.
