Hopkinton-

Deborah J. Cote, 65, of Hopkinton, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Bancroft) Murphy of Hopkinton. 

Deborah loved to crochet blankets for children and enjoyed playing bingo.

Besides her mother, Deborah is survived by her brother, Joe Taft of Marlborough and her nephew, Eric Taft and his wife, Elaine of Marlborough. She is predeceased by her husband, David Cote.

A graveside service will be held on Friday. October 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Dell Park Cemetery in Natick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607 or https://donate.lovetotherescue.org. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton.
