Medway-
Arthur C. Wheeler, 83, of Medway, passed away Friday, May 14, 2010. Born in Holliston, he was the son of the late Leroy and Alice (Mantell) Wheeler. He was the husband of the late Marilyn (Foster) Wheeler who passed in 1996.

Arthur was a member of the U.S. Navy Seabees and was a veteran of WWII. He was a lifelong member of the Holliston VFW and worked for Seavers Express as a driver for 47 years as well as a bus driver for 20 years in Bellingham.

He is survived by his son Robert Wheeler and his wife Julie of Uxbridge, 4 daughters, Anne O’Shields and her husband Larry of Georgetown, MA., Linda Blais and her husband Richard of Waterbury, CT., Mary Ann Durgin and her husband Stanley of Bellingham, and Penny Alli and her husband Don of Blackstone. He is also survived by his fiance Alice Frey of Medway and her family. He is predeceased by his wife Marilyn and his son, William Arthur Wheeler. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral home service will be held on Thursday at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow at Dell Park Cemetery in Natick.
