Alice F. Lindsay, 88, of Hopkinton, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at home. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Bridges) and Murvin French. She was the wife of 56 years to the late William T. Lindsay Jr.
Alice was a graduate of Braintree High School and a 1950 graduate of Smith College in North Hampton, MA. She was a past volunteer at the Hopkinton library, where she enjoyed spending time reading and taking out many books. As a lifelong avid gardener, she was also a past president of the Hopkinton Garden Club.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Bridges Lindsay of Masontown, WV, her cousin and friend, Harriet Bridges Hathaway and is predeceased by her son, Douglas French Lindsay who passed away in April, 2016.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11am, St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 61 Wood st. Hopkinton, MA
