My apologies - this message was supposed to go with the picture I just posted. I adored Aunt Win. We all did. She was... my father Jack's best friend - they were (cousin)partners-in-crime, and I have so many memories of standing at family events, just marveling at the stories they would tell of that magical childhood that Cliff by the Sea.... My husband Kevin and I had the wonderful opportunity to take a trip with her and Chief once to Aruba -it remains one of the funnest vacations we have ever had. She was quick of wit, always the center of the party, of any party, as she regaled us all with her clever repartee. She just... sparkled. Always. What an inspiration; what a joy; what an exceptional human being. her. We deeply mourn her passing, and send our heartfelt condolences to all of you. The world is a smaller place without her in it.

I had no idea that your Winnie is leaving such a meaningful legacy of service and love. Clearly, her impact will reach an unknown number of your family’s future generations and others????. This quote comes to mind, although I don’t know who the author was:? "A life well-lived doesn't end any more than music ends...it echoes through time with whispers of beauty of grace. If we listen, we can hear the encore with our hearts, for the song plays on, just as love lives on." God bless.
