Robert Edward Powell, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the age of 59.

Bob is survived by two daughters, Leah Alexa and Julia Page, that he loved with all his heart. He was preceded by his loving wife, Linda Coniglio Powell, whose memory Bob cherished since her passing 21 years ago in 2003. In a journal, Linda expressed falling in love with her long time friend Bob in Italian class during their senior year of high school. Leah and Julia are finding comfort in knowing their parents are reunited once again.

Bob’s family includes his mother, Linda (Swanson) Powell, sisters, and late father, Robert Powell Sr. In addition, Bob leaves behind the Coniglio extended family, as well as his aunt, niece, nephews, and many cousins.

Born March 30th, 1966, Bob was a 1984 graduate of Framingham South High School with his high school sweetheart, Linda Coniglio. Bob went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College in 1989. After graduating college, Bob and Linda united in marriage on September 14th 1991. He worked passionately in sales going on 14 years at BMW of Norwood, where his coworkers became a second family to him. Bob found freedom on the open road riding his motorcycle, enjoyed working on cars, found peace while fishing, and joy in music—especially while playing his guitar. He had a deep appreciation for good food, a curious mind, one of a kind humor, and a talent for connecting with others. Above all, Bob will be remembered for the love and unwavering devotion he showed for his two beautiful daughters, Leah and Julia. He took immense pride in their educational and personal achievements.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Linda Coniglio Powell or to the charity of your choice in Bob’s memory. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
