Pauline L. Damigella, 84, of Holliston, died Friday, January 30, 2004, at the Metrowest Medical Center in Natick, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Lena and Frank Diani and the wife of Joseph Damigella Jr. of Holliston for 62 years.
She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, she enjoyed Maine and the Coast of Maine. She was a member of the Massachusetts Women’s Guild. She helped start the Holliston Oil Company with her husband, Joe.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Joseph Damigella III and his wife Beverly of Holliston, Carl Damigella and his wife Caroll of Holliston, 1 daughter, Paula Gerson and her husband William of Florida, 2 brothers Francis Diani of Holliston and Joseph Diani of Connecticut, 1 sister, Anita Thompson of Georgia, 7 grandchildren, Scott, Kevin, Kristin, Lynn, Matthew, Melanie, and Holly, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation hours will be on Monday, February 2, 2004, from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home in Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16), Holliston, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s cemetery.
