Linda Paula Powell, 37, died Monday, November 17, 2003 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Natick. She was the wife of Robert E. Powell. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Eligio and Antonietta (Ubaldino) Coniglio of Holliston.

Formerly of Framingham, she had been a resident of Holliston for four years. Mrs. Powell had been the leading fundraiser for 3 years for the American Cancer Society Walk for Life and was the recipient of the Christa McAuliffe award at Framingham State College. She was a devoted wife and mother and friend to all. Mrs. Powell was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughters, Leah and  Julia Powell; brothers, Remo Coniglio of Framingham and Eligio Coniglio and his wife Samantha of Framingham; sister, Florence DiFilippo and her husband Tom of Framingham and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Washington St., Holliston. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick. Calling hours, at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Route 16, Holliston will be Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Powell’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
