Leo P. Lavoie

January 20, 1926 - March 12, 2015

U.S. Veteran

Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Our sincerest condolences and best wishes to the Lavoie family. Leo (or, "Mr. Lavoie") always greeted me with a smile and just enough sharp wit to keep me in line. At his son's wedding - many years later - it was a pleasure, although not at all surprising, to see that he hadn't changed a bit. He will be missed.

Dear Beth and Family, I worked as Leo's Account Manager in the 80's with Maxwell House. We had a great relationship. He told me I was his favorite Account Manager. Then I realized that technically I was his only AM because everyone else was a Sales Rep. "Uncle Leo" was fun to work with and he gave me the independence I needed on the job to become successful and creative. I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep him in my prayers.

It feels like a bit of history has passed. Whenever I think of the old Maxwell House gang, Leo is there head and shoulders above the rest of us. My heartfelt condolences to you Beth and your whole family.2ZN

Dearest Beth and Family, Our condolences are with you all at this difficult time. We will miss observing Leo attend to Fall Leaf clean up each year. He would practically get the leaves as they fell. A man after my own heart! May joyous memories bring you peace. With love, The Camille Family

Dear Beth...very sorry about your loss. I was so happy to see you and Leo a few years back at the GF Reunion in Medford MA. Leo and I had many laughs and happy times during my tenure with Maxwell House. God Bless you and family and may Leo rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences to you, Beth, and your family. I was very fortunate to have had Leo as a mentor but more fortunate to have had him as a true friend. With fond reflection of his legacy of teaching, coaching, and service to others... Don

Dear Beth, Linda, and Family, We'll always remember our work together at General Foods and the many fun times we shared. We looked forward to Friday meetings at the Millbrook and our kids always referred to Leo as "Leo the Boy". We are saddened by your loss but rejoice in knowing that he is with the Lord. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
