Gordon W. Johnson, Jr.

November 19, 1954 - May 8, 2012

Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Gordon was such a Gift. I can honestly say that in all my life I never once saw him without a smile on his face. I will remember him always as a brilliant man, a quick wit, and an incredible father. As kids, we all learn how to be complete people by looking up to the adults in our lives. I feel so blessed to have had nothing but wonderful teachers and I certainly count both Judy and Gordon very high on the list. Ben and Lucas, I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this, but always remember your father with pride for he was one of the best of us. I wish that I could be there with you for the service, but I’m sending you all my love across the seas. Best, Meg

To Gordon's family, Although Gordon and I didn't work together directly at SR we certainly did have occassions to meet - I know he was a kind, helpful and lovely person to work with. I wish you all the best as your memories comfort you, Wendy Snyder

Judy -- Gordon was a terrific guy and we will always remember the good times we had as couples. I also treasure the many times that he and I had lunch and worked on business issues, both at Stride Rite and Dentaquest. He had a great analytical mind and always brought interesting perspectives to the problems we were working on. But what really was the best thing was his kind and caring personality. Everyone who met Gordon came away commenting on what a great guy he was. Judy, Ben and Lucas - we are so saddened to not have Gordon with us. We will miss him enormously. I know how painful it must be for you. You are in our thoughts always. all our love, Bill and Maureen

Dear Judy, Lucas and Ben... I was very sad to hear of Gordon's illness and passing. We worked together at Stride Rite for many years and didn't know him well butevery time I needed some help or information from him he was always wonderful...knowledgeable, helpful, kind. I hope that you have many wonderful memories and traditions to keep him with you. God Bless. Joanne Jonah Domeniconi

Dear Judy, Lucas, & Ben -- I'm SO sorry for your loss of Gordon at such a young age and through all his afflictions Julie kept me posted on. I have fond memories of meeting him several times at family dinners. All my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you in your mourning of a great guy married for 32 years. Find solace in your beautiful memories and the mutual caring. Love -- Blanche
