George E. “Myles” Pinder, 63, of Blackstone, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Born in Calais, Maine, he was the son of the late Rose (Dana) Kennard and Richard Pinder. He was the husband of 39 years to Laurie (Maranhao) Pinder.
Myles was a fan of the New York Yankees. He liked playing pool and was a collector of various things. He was an avid animal lover, especially of his cats, Charity and Ivy, and his dog, Chivalry. He took pleasure in making Native American carvings and was proud of his American Indian heritage.
In addition to his wife, George is survived by two daughters, Tina Fried and her husband, Hyatt, of Weston, Florida, and Natalie Cassidy of Woonsocket, RI. He also leaves behind five grandchildren; Jackson Fried, Ella Fried, Marcel Cassidy, Ace Fried, and Axl Fried
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and CNA’s from Milford Regional Medical center who cared for Myles.
