Eric W. Stockwell, 49, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 25, 2025. Born in Milford, he was the son of the late Majorie and Robert Stockwell.
Eric was a truly creative soul who found joy in writing stories and poetry, and proudly self-published his own book titled The Truth Seeker. He had a deep love for music and always had the best time at Renaissance Fairs, where his playful spirit really came to life. He was at his happiest when painting mini-figurines for Dungeons and Dragons, a hobby that combined his artistic talent with his love for storytelling and fantasy. Eric will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had more friends than he could have ever imagined. Eric also shared a special bond with his beloved cat, Wulf.
Eric is survived by his spouse, Rick, of Millville, his brother, Neil Stockwell of Douglas, his Aunt, Mary-Lou DeCollibus, his cousin, Julie DeCollibus, and his mother-in-law, Debbie Brewster.
Funeral services are being held privately and are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric’s name may be made to American Diabetes Association, diabetes.org, or to a mental health charity of one’s choice.
