Eric D’Amario of Holliston, MA, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2025.  He is survived by his loving wife Allyson Filosi D’Amario, daughter Charlotte, and son Henry.  Eric was born in 1977 and raised in Springfield, MA, son of John D’Amario and Carolyn (Groleau) Mongeau.

As a youth, Eric played hockey for Springfield Youth Hockey Association, and after moving to Wilbraham, he continued playing at Minnechaug Regional High School.  He went on to graduate from Fitchburg State College with a BS in Film / Communications.  This is where he met his wife Allyson. The loving couple shared the next 30 years together, creating a wonderful life with innumerable memories.

Eric began his career working for Redtree Productions in Boston as a college intern and soon became a well-respected Producer and Executive Producer. In 2017 ,he embarked on a daring and successful entrepreneurship, forming Wanderlust Content Inc., based out of Boston. With Wanderlust, Eric developed and produced digital content throughout the US and internationally. He produced content for many well-known companies and entities, including Hood, Fidelity, Mass General Brigham, New Balance, Boston Bruins, and many more.  A vanguard for innovation in the film industry, Eric worked to make optics and robotics available to his colleagues by opening RYFT Motion Control in Framingham, MA, in 2024.

Eric was a devoted and loving father, taking huge pride in his children’s accomplishments and creating great content with them as well. He was a great “Girl Dad” with Charlotte and shared his passion for technology with Henry. The D’Amario family always had fun together creating outstanding setups at the school Halloween Trunk or Treat. This year, he volunteered his skills with the middle school drama lighting and sound crew, working alongside Henry, and Charlotte was a member of the cast. Ally and Eric were involved in the TSC Alliance, and Eric received an award for producing the #IAMTSC campaign to bring awareness to the rare genetic disease.

Eric was always happy to jump in and help others with projects as he was self-taught with home craftsmanship and maintenance, thanks to their first fixer-upper adventures.  Anyone who spent time with Eric would always be entertained by work and family stories, but he also listened with a heartfelt interest in whatever you had to share.  We will always love Eric and keep him in our hearts and minds forever.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his stepfather, Vern Mongeau of South Hadley, his stepmother, Linda D’Amario of Wilbraham, his aunts, Susan (Rich) Simcich of East Longmeadow and Dietrich (Scott) Benjamin of Kutztown, PA.  His cousins, whom he considered brothers, Roland Cote of Northampton and Dr. Jeffrey (Tina) Cote of Wells, ME, and Rainbow (Marc) Solomon of Brooklyn, NY. His step-siblings: Michelle (Dave) Dubuc and Meredith (John) Kuczynski of South Hadley, Michael (Charron) Mongeau of Amherst, Marisa McCarthy of Longmeadow, Lisa Gero of Wilbraham, Justin (Maura) McCarthy of East Longmeadow, and many nieces and nephews.

Eric was loved by his in-laws, Joyce and Pete Filosi, Karen (David) Magit, and Peter, along with two nieces and a nephew.  Uncle Will and Bill were favorites.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 10 am at the First Congregational Church of Holliston, 725 Washington Street, Holliston.  All are welcome at the service and reception to follow to honor Eric’s life and memory.  A private burial will be held at Lake Grove Cemetery.
