I met Chris and Elizabeth when my late wife and I started to go to Hang Tai in Medway about 6 or 7 years ago. He and Elizabeth welcomed us both into their friend group there and now that I've moved to Natick, I still go there every now and then to visit, always asking about them both when I didn't see them. Chris had offered to help our daughter to become a machine operator, and to steer her in the right direction to make that happen. Chris was always a kind gentlemen whenever you saw him and I'm happy that we were lucky enough to meet him and call him a friend. I only found out about his passing today, the 22nd, and I'm upset that I missed his visiting hours so I could pay my respects to his family. I'll say a prayer for him and his family tonight.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Clancy Family. Chris adored his family and friends and was a ray of sunshine everywhere he went. He was kind and generous and a wonderful friend. He was the first one to offer help to anyone that needed it. I met him later in life when I was out at a restaurant with Jonathan. We all became fast friends and spent a lot of time together and enjoyed endless dinners at Basil and Hang Tai. I ended up meeting some of my dearest friends through him. His kind, warm and fun personality was so well known and he was so incredibly proud of PJ, Ryan and his grandchildren. Chris will be so deeply missed and I hope he will be having a drink and a steak up in heaven with Jonathan. Rest in peace my dear friend. Sandy Wolfe

The Light that Made a Dark Room Bright. That was Chris. I want to give my sincere condolences, to the entire Clancy Family, to the endless amount of people, that were fortunate enough to cross Clancy's path, and especially to PJ and Ryan, who he adored more than life itself. I had the pleasure to meet Chris during the Glen Ellen Country Club days, a little latter in life, but a period in life, that seemed, we knew each other forever. There was a period of time, for a few years, that we were inseparable, hanging out with each other, and having dinner out at least four to five nights per week. Endless trips to Naples, to the point that, friendships were made with people that Chris encountered from the Northeast to the Southern coast. There was no denying when Chris entered an establishment, it was a sure bet that by the end of the evening everyone will have known him. Chris held a surprise 60th Birthday Party for me, which of course was over the top, and I tried to reciprocate a surprise 60th for Chris, but I have to admit, his was much better. In fact, almost everything he did was over the top, that was Chris. I will always Cherish that Friendship that we had. I will miss him calling me his wing man, I will miss him telling me to stand up, even when I already had been. The dinners, the trips and endless conversations. The conversations always came back full circle to his two sons, of whom he was so proud of. PJ and Ryan, you made an ever lasting impact in his life, and as much as Chris was proud of you, you should be proud of yourselves , for how you two, so impacted your Fathers life. Rest in peace my friend, I am sure you are already making new friends in Heaven, just save me a little pasta and meatballs, I am sure there is plenty of steak for you. Enjoy your new journey Your Wingman

Chris, true friendship is not measured in longevity but rather it is the quality of the relationship that carries it's true worth. Unfortunately, ours was not as long as we would have wished. However; we were blessed to call you our Friend and you will be missed by us and many others.
