To Sandy, Dale, Ellen ,Nancy ,Donna and Diane please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences on the loss of your mom. As you know my first job was working at Colella's. Your mom and dad were fantastic to work for and just all around great people. Day's pay for a day's work with a lot of fun mixed in. They were Hopkinton treasures. May the memories give you smiles down the road. Ray Peterson

Charlotte Colella had a kind, gracious, and beautiful spirit. I don’t remember ever seeing her without a smile on her face. She and Danny raised a family of strong, independent daughters who are pillars of the Hopkinton community. Over the years I had a number of relatives who worked at Colella’s Super Market including two of my own children. They learned responsibility, friendliness, organizational skills, and commitment to completing a given task while there. The Colella family has had a positive impact on many young people. I grew up with Ellen and had the privilege of spending some time at Charlotte and Danny’s home. Charlotte’s welcoming smile and her genuine interest her daughter’s friends always made me feel at home. May you rest in peace, dear Charlotte. With fond memories, Mary Kenney Luscombe
