Celeste Aida Quadros Viana, 72, of Ashland, passed away at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, following a period of declining health. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she was the daughter of the late Aulina Lopes Quadros and Genesis Lucio Quadros. She was the beloved wife of 50 years to Nevaldo de Campos Viana.  

Celeste was such a warm, friendly, kind, and caring person who loved to help and support the homeless and all people. She was a strong advocate within the Deaf Community, who enjoyed sharing the Gospel and the Word of God. Mom’s favorite Bible verses to share and inspire others with included Psalms: Chapters 40 and 121. She was also an expert baker who loved to bake for anyone and everyone, and her baked goods were loved by all! 

Celeste is survived by Nevaldo, her beloved husband for 50 beautiful years of marriage, their three Deaf children, son, Claudio Quadros Viana and his wife Carla Franciane Ferreira Viana, daughter, Luciana Quadros Viana Moreira and her husband Ricardo Manoel Goncalves Moreira, and daughter, Rosemary Quadros Viana Moreira and her husband, Andre Luiz Goncalves Moreira; as well as their five grandchildren, Daniel Goncalves Quadros, Thiago Goncalves Quadros, Ana Clara Ferreira Viana and Isabella Victoria Ferreira Viana, and Samuel Viana Moreira. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington Street, Holliston, MA 01746. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
