Barbara F. Danahy,81, of Zephyrhills, FL, born April 4, 1934 in Framingham, MA and long time resident of Holliston, MA went peacefully to her Lord, Friday, January 22, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Edith (Higgins) McManus.

Barbara was married to the late David J. Danahy for 54 years. She graduated from Holliston High School, class of 1953, and worked in the Holliston School System and Fenwal Electronics.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin Danahy and his wife Kim of Maple Grove, MN, Paul F. Danahy and his wife Natalie of Lutz, FL; her daughters, Ann Wye and her husband Brian of Blackstone, Sheila Danahy of Worcester; her sister, Shirley Houle of Holliston; her brother in law, Judge Paul W. Danahy Jr. and his wife Georgia, and her sister in law Joanne (Danahy) Kellett and Dr. Cyril Kellett. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends who thought the world of her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28th from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 29th at St Mary’s Church of Holliston.
