Holliston-

William D. Harper, 85, of Holliston, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016. Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Jessie and Lindsay Harper. He was the husband of the late Geraldine (Townsend) Harper.

William was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army artillery division. After serving his country William began a nearly four decade career as lineman for the then Boston Edison Electric Company. In retirement, Bill enjoyed displaying his award winning 56’ Continental Mark II at local car shows.

William is survived by his brothers, Phil, Robert, and Jerry Harper as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by three brothers, Charlie, Daniel and Joseph Harper. He will be sadly missed by his caretaker, neighbor and friend Teresa, who cared for him and his wife for many years.
