Esther B. McRobert, 87, of Hopkinton died on Monday Night, August 30, 2004 at the Worcester Memorial Hospital. Born in Natick, MA she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Esther (Holt) Hoey. She was also the wife of the late Philip S. McRobert who died in 1967.

Esther had attended the Natick Schools and was a member of the Baptist church in Framingham and then the First Congregational Church of Hopkinton. She had also worked for Roxbury Carpet of Saxonville and for Brown and Smith’s of Hopkinton in the 60’s and 70’s.. She was active with the Hopkinton Senior Center and their trips.

Esther is survived by 2 sons; William McRobert and his wife Mary of Hopknton, Philip McRobert and his wife Donna of Hopkinton, 3 daughters; Gail Belmore of Hopkinton, Judith McCommis of Bellingham, Janet MacKay of Hopkinton, 1 brother Earl Hoey and his wife Marge of Milford. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Esther is predeceased by 2 brothers; Robert and Sylvestor, and 3 sisters Dorothy Brigham, Elanor Ciccaroni, and Elaine Syler

Visitation hours will be held on Friday September 3, 2004 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral service will take place on Saturday September 4, 2004 at 10:00 am in the First Congregational Church of Hopkinton.
