Holliston-

Dean Konstantine Peter Koshivas, 69, of Holliston, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Katherine (Xydis) and Peter Koshivas. He was the husband of Debra (King) Koshivas of Holliston.

A lifelong Holliston resident, Dean was the owner of DP Koshivas Construction Company. He was a giver, always putting others first and never asking for anything in return. His family meant more to him than anything. He enjoyed time spent with his coffee buddies and was involved in many other endeavors. He always figured a way to get things done.

Besides his wife, Dean is survived by two children, Dean Koshivas Jr. and his wife Barbara of Holliston, Christine Chabot and her husband Macky of Burrillville, RI; his step-children, Lauren Skiff and her husband Dan, and Jonathan Tetrault and his wife Rachel. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Matthew, John, Victoria, Amelia, Selah, Emma and Jasper; his mother-in-law, Josephine King of Holliston; his cousin, Claire Crones as well as many other extended family members and his dog and best pal, Lexi. He is predeceased by two brothers, Denny and Michael Koshivas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6th from 3-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, May 7th at 10:00a.m. at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of New England, 514 Parker Rd. Boston. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. Donations may be made to an agricultural program of one’s choice.
