Peter A. Blair

Peter A. Blair, 77, of Holliston, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Milford Regional Hospital. Born in Pittsfield, MA, he was the son of the late Rita and Donald Blair. He was the husband of 47 years to the late Shirley E. (West) Blair.

Peter loved fishing, watching his grandchildren play sports, time with his family, and his daily afternoon coffee with his wife.  He was a quiet, simple man with a funny, sarcastic side. Peter loved the little things in life. He was happiest when surrounded by his family watching Boston sports and eating good food.  Peter was the kind of Papa that his grandchildren looked up to. They adored him and his presence in their lives will be greatly missed. Peter was a supportive and loving father and husband.  He never missed a chance to say I love you.

Peter is survived by his children, Kelli Blair of Franklin, Lisa Ladd and her husband, George of North Attleborough, Amy Denault and her husband, David of Palmer; his sister, Donna Chenoweth of CT and grandchildren, Nolan and Madison McLaney, George and Megan Ladd, and Ava Denault. He is predeceased by his brother, John Blair.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29th at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston.
