William George Reed

William George Reed, 66, of Holliston, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Born in Newton, he was the son of the late Margaret (Mannette) and Thomas A. Reed. He was the husband of 46 years to Sharon A. (Hart) Reed of Holliston. Bill was a retired Command Sergeant Major in the Army National Guard; where he served for 33 years. He was a member of the Natick American Legion and the Amvets and had worked at Roche Bros. for over 25 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Laura Oliveira and her husband, Miguel of Marlborough, and Bradley Reed and his wife, Kristin of South Windsor, CT. He also leaves behind five siblings, John Reed and his wife, Nong of California, Linda Anderson and her husband, David of TN, Patricia Nicklow and her husband, Michael of Ohio, and Timothy Reed of FL; as well as his cousin, Nancy Antonacci of Canada, several nieces and nephews and his grandson, Lucas. He is predeceased by his brother, Thomas Reed. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or woundedwarriorproject.org
