Edward Francis Hilliard, 80, of Holliston, passed away August 18, 2018. Born in Holliston, he was the son of the late Jennie (Regonlinski) and George J. Hilliard. He was the husband of Beth (Lindsay) Hilliard of Holliston.

Edward retired from Coan Oil in Natick in 2002, where he had worked for over 35 years. He enjoyed gardening and took great pleasure in keeping his yard a masterpiece. He loved attending church and enjoyed traveling and helping his family and friends.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Steven, Cynthia, and Beth Hilliard. He also leaves behind his siblings, Rita Grupposo, Rosemary Dzindolet, Kathleen Gjerd, Mary Louise Doberchesky, Patricia Beatrice, Joanna Hilliard, and Joseph and John Hilliard. He is predeceased by his first wife, Rita (DeCina) Hilliard and his brother, George Hilliard.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 25th at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital stjude.org or American Cancer Society, cancer.org.
