Allston and formerly Holliston-
Glen Ross Burns, 55, of Allston and formerly Holliston, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Jean (MacDonald) Burns of Holliston, and the late Robert Burns.
Glen was a longtime resident of Holliston and was a graduate of Xaverian High School, where he played football. He graduated from Framingham State with a degree in Psychology and from there he attended Tufts University PhD Program.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Sean and his wife, Sylvia of Charlotte, NC, Brian and his wife,Susan of Bethesda, MD, and his sister, Bonnie Escobar of Wellesley. He also leaves a number of nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service at Lake Grove Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glen’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
