Holliston-Theodore J. Mankus, 90, of Holliston passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Rose and Frank Mankus.Theodore was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a proud graduate from Boston College and Georgetown where he earned his law degree. Theodore had contracted for the US Government as an attorney and also worked with Tip O’Neill at the White House. Throughout his life he was a faithful Catholic, who attended Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Holliston where he served his community in faith and as a CCD teacher. Theodore took pleasure in keeping everything simple and was proud of his Lithuanian heritage.He is survived by his 9 children Theodore J., Catherine L., Stephen P.,Joseph W., Christopher M., Jonathan F., Gregory R., Jeanne-Marie R. Cushman, and James A. Mankus; his sister Stephanie Healy and 16 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his siblings, Frank and Charlie Mankus, Stella Kitredge, and Blanche Barton.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28th from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. wwwChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 1st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
