Frances Mary Coles

Frances Mary Coles, 92, of Holliston, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016. Born in Chicopee, she was the daughter of the late Ella (King) and Patrick Griffin. She was the wife of Charles Robert Coles of Holliston.

Married to Charles in Nov. of 1968, Frances had worked at Springfield Armory, Westover Air Force Base as well as the Natick Labs. She was a resident of Holliston since 1972 and a 45 year member of Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston. She enjoyed bowling, snow skiing, traveling and visiting her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, James, Patti, Abby, Matthew, Elizabeth, Charles M. and Margaret. She also leaves behind many great nieces and great nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Griffin Walworth and her nephew, Michael.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15 from 5-7 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will take place at Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston on Friday at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery in Sturbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Mary’s Church 8 Church St., Holliston, MA 01746
