Maribeth Matre (Haroutunian)

Maribeth Matre, 73, of Northbridge and formerly of Holliston, passed away May 12, 2016 at Milford Regional Medical Center. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ellen and Albert Matre. She was the former wife of the late Richard Sarkis Haroutunian.

Maribeth attended the University of Cincinnati and after college became a stage actress and a grade school teacher. She had worked and retired from Fidelity Investments as a technical writer. She enjoyed time spent with her family.

She is survived by three children, Richard Albert Haroutunian and his wife Jessica Sue of Uxbridge, Juliet E. Haroutunian-Pettit and her husband Bernard F. Pettit of North Wales, PA, and Keith M. Haroutunian and his wife Caitlin Remby of Wellesley. She leaves behind three siblings, Julie George and her husband Norman of SC, Sue Christin and her husband Don of Ohio, and Albert Matre and his wife Mary Lou of Ohio. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and is predeceased by her brother, Joe Matre.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17th from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 18th at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
