Victor D’Elia, 88, of Framingham and Rockingham, NC, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston following a brief illness. Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Esther (Puorro) and Pasquale D’Elia. He was the husband of 59 years to Betty L. (Baldwin) D’Elia of Framingham and Rockingham, NC.

Victor loved outdoor activities, especially hunting, fishing, gardening and walking. His favorite thing was being with his family, which included
Monday, Wednesday, Friday lunches in Rockingham with his beloved family there, and especially any activity that included his grandchildren. He had worked for Standard Electric; where he retired after 34 years and had made many treasured, lifelong friends. Vic and Betty were blessed to be able to raise their children in an exceptional neighborhood of wonderful friends who are like family.

Besides his wife, Victor leaves behind three children, Victor D’Elia Jr. and his partner Rebecca of Lexington, SC, Laura Dunn and her husband Bill of Forestdale, MA and Ann Jeye and her husband Ed of Holliston. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Joey D’Elia, Amanda and Ava Jeye, and Rob Dunn; his great-grandchild, Ariana; his former daughter-in-law Kimberly and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 5 siblings, Ralph D’Elia, Anna
(Azar) Parisi, Pauline Ralston, Frederick D’Elia and Edward D’Elia.

A brief service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday, November 28th at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.
