Stephen DeFrancesco

Stephen DeFrancesco, 84, of Holliston, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Kindred Hospital in Natick. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Rose (Torrey) and Joseph DeFrancesco. He was the husband of 53 years to Dolores (Gonsalves) DeFrancesco of Holliston.

Stephen was a lifetime member Southborough Rod and Gun club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, woodworking and eating out at restaurants. He loved time spent with family; especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Stephen J. DeFrancesco and his wife Patricia of Tewksbury, a daughter Linda M. MacDonald and her husband Brian of East Taunton and a sister Angela DeFrancesco of Holliston. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kelly M. MacDonald, Caitlin, Amy, Stephen P, and Rebecca DeFrancesco; as well as many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17th from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral Mass will take place at 10:30a.m. on Thursday, July 18 at St. Mary’s Church Holliston.
Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holliston Pantry Shelf, 21 Water St. Hollliston, MA 01746, or a Blind Charity of One’s Choice.
