Ruth B. Lovewell, 98, of Holliston, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of 73 years to Loring P. Lovewell of Holliston.

A life time Holliston resident, Ruth was a Nurse’s Aide in WWII. She enjoyed reading, knitting, gardening and visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Edith MacLeod of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Laurianne Wills of Holliston; two sons, John Lovewell of Holliston and George Lovewell and his wife Joyce of Hopedale. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Judy Smith and her husband Peter, Herb MacCleod and his wife Diane, Jeffrey Wills and his wife Heather, Andrew Wills and his wife Debbie and Jake Lovewell; as well as 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston on Saturday, September 20th at 2:00p.m. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
