Carol A. Shutt

Holliston-
Carol A. Shutt, 74, of Holliston, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Timothy Daniels House in Holliston. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Nolan) and James McKenzie.

Carol was a retired 911 operator for the city of Boston and was a member of the St. Anthony’s Drum and Bugle Corp.

She is survived by her son, William J. Shutt and his wife Marie of Holliston, a daughter, Ellen Simpson of South Carolina; her siblings, Timothy McKenzie of Holbrook, Joan Ganshirt of Whitman,6 grandchildren, Jenna, Amanda, Danielle, Ann Marie, Samantha, Angela, as well as 3 great-grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, James McKenzie, Maureen Brennan and Mary Lorriane McKenzie.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston on Tuesday at 11a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury.
